Application advice
For optimal results, apply a thin layer of the Meadow Guardian balm before work and when turning out to pasture. If you wash your horse, wait until it is dry before applying the balm.
Take a small amount of balm in the palm of your hand. Upon contact with the skin, the ointment melts and applies easily. Spread on sensitive areas (neck, interars, ventral line, head, base of the tail).
⚠️ Warning: Do not apply to raw areas.
The Meadow Guardian is a powerful treatment made of 100% natural active ingredients that must not be applied to open wounds or strongly irritated areas. Raw skin requires veterinary care.
If your horse has scratched itself to the point of bleeding, apply the Meadow Guardian in a crown (all around the affected area, 2 cm from the edges). Its powerful scent will act as a barrier against flies to prevent them from attacking the wound, while the peripheral skin will be nourished. Once the skin has closed and is healthy, you can apply it directly to it to soften the epidermis.
